Admission Guidelines

Application Form Collection

Dhaka – Rampura, Banasree, Block: E, Road: 06, House: 15.  The application form can be collected from the office of Madrasatul Dawah Al-Islamia located next to Jamjam Mosque.

Submission of Application

You must submit the application within the specified deadline. If the deadline is exceeded, the guardian must submit the complete application within 3–5 business days.

Necessary documents

  • 2 copies of the student's photo
  • Birth certificate
  • Father/Mother's National ID Card

Interview

The selected student must participate in the interview along with a guardian.

Exam

After the preliminary interview, written, oral, and practical exams must be taken.

Admission Approval

The student who has passed the exam must submit a transfer certificate from the previous madrasa.

Fee Submission

The selected student must collect the admission form by submitting a fee of 200 Taka at the office or online on the specified date. The admission process will be completed after the fee is submitted.

Important Responsibilities of Parents

  • All financial transactions must be conducted with a receipt from an authorized person of the organization.
  • The holiday schedule will be provided in the diary; if necessary, monthly notices or urgent decisions will be communicated via SMS.
  • The student's monthly expenses (service charge, tuition fee, laundry fee, etc.) must be paid by the 5th of each month.
  • It is prohibited to make any financial transactions or give gifts to the employees of the madrasa.
  • Parents cannot meet with the student during class.
  • To contact the student by phone, you must reach out to the specified number.
  • Students cannot be taken home before the holiday period; permission from the authorities must be obtained for urgent needs.
  • If there are any complaints, they must be reported directly to the authorities or submitted in the complaint box.
  • Parents must come to the office at least once every two weeks to check on their child's faith, actions, character, and studies.
  • The authorities may change or add rules as necessary.
  • Students are not allowed to receive pocket money; if necessary, it must be deposited in the office.
  • No family events can be organized during the student's class time.
  • There must be a Sharia-compliant curtain arrangement maintained in the house.
  • It is not permissible to dress the child in clothing that goes against the Sunnah.

Madrasa uniform

  • Punjabi – White (Madhani Cut)
  • Cap and Turban – White
  • Pyjama - White
  • Shoes – White Keds
  • Sweater – Dark Blue
  • Monogram – In the pocket of the Punjabi

Monthly Fees and Regulations

  • The monthly fee must be paid by the 5th of each month.
  • If the fee is not paid within the specified time, written permission from the principal must be obtained.
  • Fees will not be waived due to leave or student absence.
  • The student has to pay the full year's (12 months) fee.

Rules for Changing Institutions

  • If you change institutions within the first 3 months after enrollment, the admission fee will be refunded.
  • To obtain the Transfer Certificate (TC), the fee for the current month must be paid.
  • You must apply in the prescribed format.
  • If expelled for violating the rules, the same rule will apply.

Students' Responsibilities

  • Student life is a time for acquiring character, discipline, and responsibility.
  • An ideal student develops themselves as ethical, disciplined, and responsible.

Commitment to Purpose and Knowledge Acquisition

  • I will acquire knowledge for the pleasure of Allah.
  • I will take the efforts of the Sahaba, the elders of Deoband, and the Dawah-Tabligh as a model.
  • I will regularly perform the five daily prayers in congregation.
  • I will enrich myself with the quality of Taqwa and refrain from Haram.
  • I will follow the Sunnah in every aspect of my life.

Clothing and personal hygiene

  • I will wear clothes according to Sunnah and come in a clean uniform.
  • I will avoid tight pajamas, fashionable Punjabi outfits, vests, etc.
  • I will not cut my hair in imitation of the Jewish-Christians.

Text and prohibited content

  • I will be present at least 15 minutes before the class starts.
  • I will not keep any newspapers, magazines, or novels.
  • I will not use any electronic devices, including a mobile phone.

Behavior and Relationships

  • I will behave amicably with my classmates.
  • I will refrain from unnecessary interactions.
  • I will always show respect to the director, teachers, and staff.

Location, Movement, and Punctuality

  • If I need to go outside, I will take permission and return at the designated time.
  • I will sleep and wake up according to a specific schedule.
  • I will keep the classroom and the surrounding environment clean.

Guest and Other Policies

  • If you want to have an outside guest, you must obtain permission from the head supervisor with the consent of the guardian.
  • I will stay away from all kinds of disputes and political ideologies.
  • I will participate in the daily, weekly, monthly, and annual activities of the da'wah efforts.
  • I will not use unnecessary electricity and will avoid waste.
